OUR HISTORY

Since its establishment in 1963, BASREC has covered a wide range of repairs and maintenance on vessels working in and around the Arabian Gulf. Our workforce has built upon over 55 years of continuous success making them the most experienced and reliable in the region. Our facilities include a floating Dock 120-meter x 18.5-meter (inside walls) with a lifting capacity of up to 6000 tons deadweight, two 80-meter long slipways, both having a capacity of up to 1000 tons, and two repair quaysides, both consisting of a 6-meter minimum water depth and can accommodate vessels of up to 170 meters in length. Additionally, our facilities also include small crafts, barges, and a 20-meter light float.

Since 1997, all of our ship repairing services and activities have been ISO 9001 (2000) certified. This includes container inspection services, pump repairs, as well as our subsidiary services.
